This past weekend we made our regular trip to the Atlantic Craft Trade Show.  A great tradition, the Atlantic Craft Trade Show is a “vehicle for the purpose of promoting crafts and giftware manufactured exclusively in the Atlantic Provinces.”

In February of each year, Atlantic Canadian crafters gather for three days at the World Trade and Convention Centre in beautiful downtown Halifax. At this event one can find the finest in candles, clothing, food, glass, home decor, jewellery, leather, metal, native, paintings, paper, pottery, stone, wood and much more. 

This year’s show was excellent, with many new products. We were impressed with the selection of the crafts, as well as books, photos, and prints. We placed a number of orders for Nova Scotian products, as well as some items from Prince Edward Island. At Dominion Chair we believe it is important to support locals artisans and provide visitors with a broad showcase of maritime products.
